Why we give.
'Now concerning the collection for the saints: as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do. On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come. '

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We are soldiers of Christ who have been commanded to go into all the world and proclaim the gospel. We do this through our weekly contributions.
